He’s entertaining, controversial, and always thought-provoking.
If you subscribe to Randy Gage’s Prosperity Blog, read any of his bestselling books, heard him speak, or even listened in on any of our prior interviews, you know the man thinks. In his newest book, he says that disruptive technology, accelerating speed of change and economic upheaval are changing the game. And, that the same tired, old conventional thinking won’t get you to success today.
In this powerful interview, Randy gives a sneak peek at some of the valuable information from his upcoming book, Risky Is the New Safe. He’ll suggest some jobs and business models he believes will disappear forever, and how to position yourself in the ones that will thrive in the emerging cycles. As always with Randy, you’ll discover how to think differently and develop the same mindset that the world’s highest level achievers harness for success.
And, be forewarned… you might be shocked by some of what he says. Of course, that’s nothing new for Randy.
So, enjoy the conversation. 🙂
What were some of Randy’s thoughts and suggestions you found to be most enlightening? Most surprising? Do you agree with his conclusions or do you believe is he suggesting things that are not likely to happen? Would love to know your thoughts.

Bob, I love your interviews!
Christie: Thank you, my great friend. My guests make it very easy for me. ‘Preciate ya’!
🙂
“Teach people how to think, not what to think.”What a great quote and great way to help people succeed. I put in my order for Randy’s new book already. Thanks Bob for sharing Randy’s story.
Denis: Thank you. And, I agree…isn’t that a great quote? When we know how to think, the rest of it will fall into place. Glad you ordered Randy’s book. I have a feeling you’re going to love it!
Great interview, Bob. Loved your buggy whip question (though they are probably being custom made somewhere at a premium price). Randy certainly comes up with some off the wall ideas, but when you stop to think about them, they do make sense! Thanks for supplying us with interesting people who have something to say!
Craig: So glad you enjoyed the interview. Look forward to seeing you at upcoming event in Ohio, my friend!
Hi Bob and Randy
Great interview. The book sounds fascinating and have pre-ordered my copy … e-book though as most of my library is now going to be electronic 🙂 because I can take it with me whenever I travel. I’d have trouble doing that with my physical collection.
I also love the quote “Teach people how to think, not what to think”
You are very fortunate to have received a pre-release copy 🙂
Have a great day
Elle
Elle: Thank you. I know you’re gonna’ love Randy’s book (electronic or traditional) :-). And, yes, that quote is a terrific one, isn’t it? Might be the quote that becomes most associated with the book. Thanks again, Elle!

WOW – What an AWESOME interview Bob – LOVE it. Looking forward to get the book – Preordered it. Lot of things to get you thinking – and I see the importance of learning how to think to be able to stay yourself 🙂 HUGE hugs from Denmark!
Lene, thank you, my friend. Big Hugs back to you, as well. And, hello to all my buds in Denmark!
The best jobs in 2019 haven’t even been invented yet – so what do teachers think they are preparing our children for? Such an insight.
Looking forward to reading this book.
Lauren: Thank you. So glad you enjoyed the interview. I know you’ll enjoy his book!
Thank you for this wonderful insight into risky is the new safe can’t wait to get my hands on the book possibly at MM8.
Thank you for your kind comment. Enjoy Randy’s book!
Thank you Bob, I attended your workshop when you were in Charlotte a couple of years ago. It was great! This is the first time I have been to your site. Randy Gage is a wonderful example … In his book, Randy describes how “what’s past is prologue”applies in the present national and international economies. It will be a classic in the years to come!!
Tim: Thank you for your very kind comment, both re my program and about Randy. Yes, he definitely walks the talk and I believe his book is heading to be huge!
